With 1,000 acres of open green space, Morven Park is the perfect spot for people who are seeking a quiet respite, a place to exercise, or a safe space to walk with family, friends, or dogs. Part of the allure of the Park is the exquisite natural beauty of our formal gardens and verdant landscape.
As a private park open to the public, donations make it possible for us to maintain these rolling acres, manicured gardens, and towering trees. The Morven Park team takes great care to enhance these treasured spaces with carefully planned seasonal flowerbeds, planters, benches, and trees.
You can help by sponsoring a Park flowerbed or planter for one season, or by permanently dedicating a bench or tree. Make your selection below and we will follow up to finalize the details. Flowerbed or Planter Dedication
In the Formal Gardens, near the Coach House and Corbell, or the Equestrian Center, there are 35 unique flower beds and planters available for a season-long dedication. For a donation of $150, a marker with the name of your dedication recipient/honoree will be on display in the flowerbed or planter of your choice (based on availability), from May to September.
Bench Dedication
You can memorialize or honor someone special by dedicating a Morven Park bench in their name. With a donation of $1,500, Morven Park will purchase the bench, add an engraved plaque with your tribute, and place it in a mutually agreed upon location in the Park.
New Tree Dedication
It has been said that one who plants a tree, plants hope. You can honor a friend or loved one by dedicating a new Morven Park tree in their name. To preserve Morven Park’s spectacular tree canopy, we add trees to our sprawling landscape each year, including replacing those that have been lost to age or the elements. With each new tree, care is taken to select species that are appropriate for our climate and that will flourish at the various planting locations. By helping us replenish and take care of our trees, you not only enhance the Park’s natural beauty, but also provide food and shelter for the many species of wildlife that call Morven Park home.
A donation of $1,000 will provide for the planting, care, and maintenance of a dedicated new tree. The Morven Park team will arrange for a commemorative plaque to be placed at the base of the tree.
Existing Tree Dedication
Morven Park’s magnificent tree canopy provides beauty and shade as well as food and shelter for the many species of wildlife that call Morven Park home. Of all the gorgeous trees in the Park, do you have a favorite? Perhaps it’s one that produces incredible spring blossoms or offers a burst of fall color. Or maybe you prefer a tree that represents hope and inspiration by staying green year-round.
For a donation of $2,500, you can dedicate one of the Park’s existing trees in honor of a friend or loved one. The Morven Park team will arrange for a commemorative plaque to be placed at the base of the tree.
Support the Gardens
If you’ve ever taken care of a small yard or garden, you can imagine the myriad of items our team needs to maintain and enhance Morven Park’s gardens—seeds, bulbs, plants, soil, fertilizer, hoses, watering cans, tools, gloves, etc. Your $50 donation will be appreciated more than you know!
