Youth Leadership Opportunities

Center for Civic Impact

Discover your Leadership Potential!

The Morven Park Center for Civic Impact invites middle and high school students to join us, along with our partners from Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, and Community Service, to participate in our Summer Youth Leadership program.

These multi-day initiatives expand young participants’ civic understanding by providing opportunities to engage with their community, network with experts and guest speakers, and practice peer-to-peer skill building. Students emerge with both enhanced leadership skills and a deeper sense of community.

  • Engage in exciting team-building exercises that foster collaboration and cooperation.
  • Develop effective communication skills through guided activities, ensuring your voice is heard.
  • Connect with your peers and community.
  • Lay the foundations for confident and responsible leadership, setting the stage for future success

Rising 7th and 8th graders can apply for the Youth Leadership Retreat. This middle school-focused retreat is offered two times during the summer, with one location held in eastern Loudoun County and one held at Morven Park.

Rising high school students can apply to the Youth Leadership Institute hosted each summer at Morven Park.

Registration for the 2024 Youth Leadership Retreat has ended. Come back next year to apply for the 2025 program!
