Turkey Hill Farm

Davis Mansion and Historic Outbuildings

In the 1930’s Westmoreland Davis operated one of the largest turkey breeding enterprises in the country at Morven Park.  Turkey Hill Farm, a two-acre site north of the Mansion, interprets the early 20th century agricultural history of Morven Park.

Visit the self-guided 1930 Farm Hand House, open to the public during regular museum hours, to learn more about the lives of the farm workers who once lived and worked at Morven Park.  The four-room home offers a humble contrast to the stately mansion and is a favorite among visitors and staff.  Interpretive signage provides more information on the surviving poultry brooder house and Davis’ agricultural practices.
