Development Coordinator
Status: Regular full-time, exempt
Salary Range: $42,000 - $45,000
Reports to: Director of Engagement and Fundraising
The Development Coordinator will manage Morven Park’s annual fund and other core donor programs. As a member of the cross-organizational fundraising team, the Coordinator will foster meaningful relationships to increase donor engagement and giving through a multi-channel fundraising program. In partnership and collaboration with the Director of Engagement and Fundraising, the Coordinator will also develop and execute other key fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will practice high emotional intelligence and expertise to ensure donors feel valued and appreciated. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities Include:
▪Using a data-informed approach, identify and cultivate donors within Morven Park active donor file by executing effective donor upgrades and special appeals.
▪Drafts, proofs, and edits materials for Morven Park appeals.
▪Cultivate, nurture and manage positive relationships with individual donors.
▪Manage stewardship communications and implement customized touch points with core donor groups including telephone thank you calls.
▪Track and report on acquisition, conversion, and monthly giving through KPIs including, retention, average gift, upgrades, and additional giving.
▪Research, identify and implement cutting-edge strategies to optimize underutilized opportunities to support annual goals.
▪Analyze and report progress to goals and effectiveness of specific campaigns, tactics and vendor performance.
▪Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.Track and report on acquisition, conversion, and monthly giving through KPIs including, retention, average gift, upgrades, and additional giving.
▪Other duties as assigned to assist the Morven Park Team.

Equestrian Programs Coordinator
Status: Regular full-time, exempt

Reports to: Director of Equestrian Programs
The Equestrian Programs Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Equestrian Programs to ensure that the Equestrian Center is prepared to welcome events of all levels and disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a background in equestrian event planning and coordination, experience working with a multi-disciplinary team, and will be confident and ready to promote the Park’s mission to prospective clients at all events. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities Include:
▪Prepare contracts for rental clients and coordinate execution
▪Build and maintain positive customer relationships
▪Prepare internal work orders in lead-up to events
▪Coordinate internal and external communications pertaining to events
▪Enter all interactions, contracts, payments, and notes related to rentals clients, prospects, and vendors into the Salesforce database in a timely manner.o
▪Serve as on-site event contact during designated event weekends and coordinate communications between Park staff, vendors, and the client from set-up to clean-up as appropriate
▪Coordinate Morven Park event sponsorships with the Director of Engagement and Fundraising
In-kind sponsorship acquisitions and fulfillment for equestrian prizes
▪Jump and banner sponsorship sales and fulfillment coordination
▪General fulfillment assistance for other equestrian sponsorships
▪Assist with preparations and operations of Morven Park equestrian events, including but not limited to:
▪Purchasing
▪Pre-event organization
▪Conducting inventory
▪Pre-event and day-of set-up, post-event breakdown

Horticulturist
Status: Regular full-time, exempt
Starting salary range: $57,000-$62,000
Reports to: Director of Buildings & Grounds

Our ideal candidate will possess:
▪ At least 1 year of experience as a professional gardener or horticulturist, with 3-5 years’ experience in landscaping or plant care and maintenance.
▪ A bachelor’s degree in horticulture or a related field, or an associate degree and equivalent experience. (A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.)
▪ The ability to work independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team, and function effectively in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision.
▪ Certification in pesticide and fertilizer application.
▪ A current/valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
▪ Basic computer skills and the ability to understand diagrams, maps, and work orders.
▪ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a superior work ethic.
